Meet Dr. Angelique Pillar
Raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Dr. Pillar is a graduate of Yale University and Harvard Medical School and completed her Ophthalmology training at the University of Maryland in Baltimore with fellowship training in corneal and refractive surgery at the world famous Cleveland Clinic. She then returned to Baltimore serving as Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland and a private practice specializing in corneal transplantation where she completed a high volume of surgeries including penetrating keratoplasties and more advanced lamellar keratoplasties including DALK, DSEK, DMEK.
Dr. Pillar has performed thousands of cataract, cornea, and laser vision correction procedures, and has special expertise in the newest technological advances. She performs laser-assisted cataract surgery, LASIK, PRK, corneal crosslinking, Intacs, implantable contact lens surgery (Visian EVO ICL), lens fixation and lens exchange surgeries. She offers cataract surgery using state-of the-art lenses including toric, lifestyle, and the RXSight light adjustable lens (LAL). Dr. Pillar’s expertise includes minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) including the OMNI Surgical System, Hydrus Microstent, and the iStent Trabecular Micro-Bypass.

Ellie E. Samadani, M.D

Meet Dr. Ellie E. Samadani
Dr. Ellie Samadani is a board-certified ophthalmologist and trained at the prestigious Kresge Eye Institute. She graduated with honors from the UC Berkeley and the School of Medicine at Wayne State University.
Raised in California, Dr. Samadani returned here after her training and has worked at One to One LASIK in San Diego for 23 years. She specializes in medical diseases of the eye, including glaucoma, diabetes, macular degeneration and dry eye.
She is also an expert in the prescription of contact lenses, including bifocal and astigmatism-correcting contacts. She has published numerous research papers in ophthalmology.
Known for the amount of time she spends with patients, Dr. Samadani embodies the One to One LASIK philosophy of expert, unhurried and compassionate care. She is fluent in English, Farsi, and French.

Meet Dr. Sanford Feldman
Dr. Sanford Feldman has now retired from clinical ophthalmology and now holds an emeritus position in our office. Repeatedly voted “Top Doctor” in Ophthalmology by San Diego physicians, Dr. Sanford G. Feldman is a board certified ophthalmologist who has practiced in San Diego since 1984. Awards based on online reviews put him in the top 1% of doctors nationwide.
Dr. Feldman is a graduate of the world-renowned Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA in Los Angeles, and has taught there as an associate clinical instructor for more than 30 years. He graduated with highest honors from Stanford University and the UCLA School of Medicine. Dr. Feldman has performed more than 18,000 vision correcting procedures.
While practicing, he specialized in small incision cataract surgery, including laser-assisted cataract surgery, and the use of enhanced intraocular lens implants including multifocal and astigmatism-correcting implants. He is also an expert in bladeless wavefront guided custom LASIK. He is an award-winning researcher and author. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
