Dr. Ellie Samadani is a board-certified ophthalmologist and trained at the prestigious Kresge Eye Institute. She graduated with honors from the UC Berkeley and the School of Medicine at Wayne State University.

Raised in California, Dr. Samadani returned here after her training and has worked at One to One LASIK in San Diego for 22 years. She specializes in medical diseases of the eye, including glaucoma, diabetes, macular degeneration and dry eye.

She is also an expert in the prescription of contact lenses, including bifocal and astigmatism-correcting contacts. She has published numerous research papers in ophthalmology.

Known for the amount of time she spends with patients, Dr. Samadani embodies the One to One LASIK philosophy of expert, unhurried and compassionate care. She is fluent in English, Farsi, and French.
